So 2012….yup, 2012. Can you wrap your head around that? Me either…But what I can believe is how CRAZY this year is going to be. We have some exciting dreams for Paint this town red this year. And I am ready to see them in full effect. I’m not sure that I have ever anticipated such great things to come like I am now. And a majority of this excitement comes from our very first series, in our very first service, and our “very” first time in our new home at The Optimist Club. Yes, I’m excited about meeting weekly now. But what excites me is not the weekly regiment of “having a service”. What I’m really looking forward to is the community, the relationships, the worship, and the testimonies of what God is doing on a weekly basis…

What’s really crazy is that I am preaching a message series that I preached exactly 1 year ago. Now, that seems like a bit of a cop-out. But in reality, it’s BRILLIANT! See this message and I what I learned from it is what propelled the boldness and vision of Paint this town red. It was launched into reality based on the concepts and biblical truths learned from this new mentality. So what is it you say? It’s called Sun Stand Still. I know, I know…I didn’t come up with this catchy title. In fact, I’m using the teachings of an incredible pastor and church based out of Charlotte North Carolina. Don’t be discouraged because “I” didn’t hear from the Lord on this idea and write a book about it (which Steven Furtick did). But let me say this…The simple truths and vision of a “Sun Stand Still” lifestyle will completely change you! Not, in a creepy religious way. But in the most freeing, bold and AUDACIOUS way possible. Actually, that’s what it’s all about…AUDACITY. Here’s the overall theme, “See what happens when you dare to ask God for the impossible”.

If I were to ask you what you would DARE to believe God for, what would it be? Think about that, and come learn how to put wings to that dream, vision, plan, hope and desire. This isn’t a con to get people to a service. This is a challenge to do something extraordinary in your life, in your family, and in your community.  I’m ready to see God move in Pampa like never before, and I believe this miracle will take place when the people of our town find HOPE. And I’m not just talking about the poor, the broken and those in poverty. This is for you. Because when it all comes down to it, YOU are the hope for this city, no matter what your economical status is. It’s time to start believing, praying, moving and acting in faith lile never before!
